My hometown
My hometown is a small old（古老的） town. About 200 families live there. Most of them are farmers. Some families live on the farm（住在農(nóng)場）, because they keep cows（飼養(yǎng)奶牛） there. Other families just live in their own houses. They grow wheat（小麥）.
The town isn't far from（離……不遠(yuǎn)） the city. There are buses to the city(進城的公交車) every day. We often go shopping（購物） in the city centre（在市中心）.
The people here know each other very well（彼此了解）. They are very kind. When you need help, they often offer their helping hands（伸出他們的援助之手）.
I really enjoy the life here, I hope you can come and visit the town.
