In the US and Canada, people like entertaining (請客) at home. They invite friends for a meal, a party or
just (僅僅) cup of tea.
There are many ways to make invitations (邀請). They usually use an email, a letter or a phone call.
For example (例如). "Would you like to come for dinner this evening?" "Hello, can you come to my party
this weekend?"
If you can go, .you can say "Thank you" or "Yes, I'd love to". If you can't go, you can say "Sorry. I'd
love to, but I have classes." or other excuses.
