At a family reunion one year, I noticed that my 13-year-old granddaughter Lauren was not including her cousin Emily in her small 1 of three friends.
I pulled Lauren aside, and thought of giving her a lecture(訓(xùn)斥) on kindness. Just then I remembered a 2 experience when I was about the same age as Lauren.
