My favourite film star is Jason Wu. He is an actor, a kung fu superstar, a director and a philanthropist.
Jason Wu was born in Beijing on 3 April 1974. He entered the film industry in 1995. In 1998 the TV series Tai Chi
Master made him famous. In 2003 he went to Hong Kong and played major roles in many films. In 2008 he began to
work as a director. In 2015 the film Wolf Warriors directed and starred by Jason Wu won a big success. The Wolf
Warriors series made him world-famous and win lots of awards. In 2019 he acted in China's first science-fiction film
The Wandering Earth and it made him even more popular than before.
Jason Wu's achievements went beyond the film industry. He once worked as a volunteer to help the people in
earthquakes. He has taken an active part in charity activities and donated lots of clothes and money to the children in
poor areas.
Jason Wu is considered by many people as a superstar, not only for his success in action films but also for his
efforts in charity work.
